inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police confirmed that a housewife in East Bekasi was abused by her biological child. The mother was even threatened to be killed with a kitchen knife.

Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi explained that the perpetrator was MIEC who has now been arrested and named a suspect.

 The abuse itself took place on their house at Irigasi Tertia street, Bekasi Jaya Village, East Bekasi District, Bekasi City on Thursday (1/6/25).

Ade explained that initially MIEC and his mother were on the porch of the house. Then, he asked his mother to borrow a neighbor's motorbike, however refused by the mother..

"Angered by that, MIEC threw a chair at his mother, however, fortunately didn't hit the victim," Ade explained in his statement on Monday (6/23/2025).

Did not stop there, MIEC continu abused his mother by hitting her head with a sandal until she fell to the floor. He then pushed around his mother before going into the house to grab a kitchen knife.

"MIEC screamed to his mother  'look what I'm carrying!, I'll kill your little brother in front of your eyes' then a few minutes later witness J came to the crime scene with two security guards," he said.

In this case, the perpetrator was charged with Article 44 paragraph (1) of Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence (KDRT).
