inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. The Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate has arrested A. Hamid, also known as Boy. He is known to be a wanted man for drug dealing in Koko Erwin's network.

"Boy has been arrested," explained the Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation of the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, on Thursday (3/12/2026).

He said Boy was arrested in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, on Tuesday (3/10/2026). The suspect is currently being held at INP Criminal Investigation Agency HQ.

Boy's arrest began when the Sub-Directorate IV Team of the INP's Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate received information on his whereabouts in Pontianak on Friday (3/6/2026). The team immediately departed for Pontianak the following day.

He explained that they received information that Boy was at a guest house. However when the search was conducted, he was already gone.

The team then moved again to the house of a man identified as DH in Kubu Raya, Pontianak. At the location, the team apprehended Boy in a warehouse next to DH's house.

Eko revealed that Boy initially fled to Jakarta to meet his girlfriend, identified as R, who was staying at R's aunt's house in Banten.

Upon arriving in Banten, Boy contacted Ko Erwin to inform him that he was being pursued by the police and to request protection.

"Koko Erwin advised him to immediately go to Pontianak, West Kalimantan, to hide, and that his friend, DH, would assist him," he said.
