inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Bengkulu Sub-regional City Police involved dozens of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in a watch party of the 2026 World Cup as an effort to support the community's economy and celebrate the 80th Bhayangkara Day.

Bengkulu Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Rahmat Hidayat, stated that the event provided a platform for the police to be present in the community and provide opportunities for MSMEs to get more income.

"We are present in the community, assisting MSMEs and providing quality entertainment through a watch party of the World Cup match between England and Congo," said Rahmat on Thursday (7/2/2026).

He explained that the watch party was part of a series of events commemorating the 80th Bhayangkara Day and an effort to bring INP closer to the community.

According to him, the event also aims to popularize sports, particularly soccer, so that the public can enjoy matches in a safe and collaborative atmosphere.

"We want to always be with the community. This activity is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the police and the community," he said.
