Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police confirmed a 32-year-old man fell from the third floor of Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 2 in South Jakarta on Sunday afternoon (8/3/2026).
The victim, identified by the initials AYA, plunged from the upper level at approximately 1 pm before being rushed to Fatmawati Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Local authorities from the Kebayoran Lama Police Office immediately cordoned off the scene to conduct a forensic investigation into the fall, which briefly caused a stir among weekend shoppers.
"It is true that a man fell from the third floor of PIM 2 mall, and he has been transported to Fatmawati Hospital for further handling," confirmed Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Head of Public Relations, as cited by antaranews.com.
Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to determine the exact chronology and cause of the incident.
