The Indonesian National Police (INP) demonstrated their commitment to the community through a community service activity conducted by the East Kalimantan Regional Police through the Mobile Brigade Corps and the Bhayangkari unit. The activity took place in Damai Village, South Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City, on Wednesday (8/5/2026).

During the activity, the East Kalimantan Regional Police Bhayangkari unit distributed 130 packages of cooking oil, each containing 2 liters, to those in need. The distribution proceeded smoothly, demonstrating their concern and care for the community.

This social activity is an effort to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community through concrete actions that provide direct benefits. In addition to helping alleviate people's needs, it is also hoped that this activity will strengthen collaboration and foster a spirit of togetherness within the community.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Tedy Sopandi, stated that the social activities carried out by the Bhayangkari unit are part of the police's commitment to always being present and providing benefits to the community.

"Through this sharing activity, we want to foster a spirit of caring and togetherness. The police's presence is not only in maintaining security and order, but also through social activities that can directly benefit the community," said Senior Commissioner Tedy.
