inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Police have questioned eight witnesses regarding the discovery of a student's body at the mouth of the Kaliadem River in Karang Serang Village, Sukadiri District.

"The Tangerang Sub-regional City Police Criminal Investigation Unit has questioned at least eight witnesses suspected of having knowledge of the incident," explained Tangerang Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Andi Muhammad Indra Waspada Amirullah, on Monday (April 13, 2026).

Furthermore, Indra stated that the witness questioning process was conducted to uncover the facts and chronology of the events that led to the student's death. Police are also investigating the alleged involvement of a brawl that led to the previous incident.

"The investigation is ongoing to fully uncover the events that occurred, including identifying those responsible," he said.

Indra explained that, based on the results of the examination and initial investigation, it is suspected that the victim died as a result of violence. This is supported by the discovery of wounds on the right side of the chest and wounds on the victim's right hand.
