Inp.polri.go.id - Ngawi. The East Java Regional Police finally catch the murderer of Uswatun Hasanah (29), whom he mutilated into several parts. The arrest was carried out by a police unit on Saturday (1/25/2025).
Police said the suspect is from Tulungagung and with the arrest, police able to find the missing limbs of the victim, such as the head, also the left and right leg.
Ngawi Sub-regional Police has not conveyed any official statement regarding the arrest as they are still coordinating with the East Java Regional Police.
"We still have not received any news about it," says Ngawi Sub-regional Police, First Police Inspector Dian Ambarwati on Sunday (1/26/2025).
Head of Ngawi Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Senior Police Inspector Joshua Peter Krisnawan says his party has examined several witnesses such as family members to uncover this case.
Joshua Peter Krisnawan says his party would not release any official statement revolving aorund this case yet, but there is a speculation that suspect met Uswatun in Tulungagung.
"Regarding the possibility of the victim meeting the suspect in Tulungagung or in another area, we cannot explain the details yet. This is still under our investigation," explained Joshua Peter Krisnawan.
In catching the murderer, Ngawi Sub-regional Police had to collaborate with East Java Regional Police and other Sub-regional Police. Upon the arrest, police vow to uncover this case professionally, according to the procedure, and through scientific crime investigation," conclude Joshua.
