inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency has named one person on its wanted list (DPO) in connection with a drug trafficking case at the New Star nightclub in Bali. The DPO is I Dewa Ketut Wiranida.
The INP's Criminal Investigation Unit uncovered the circulation of ecstasy at New StarClub Bali. The nightclub was a venue for ecstasy distribution, involving management and targeting customers.
"We have named one DPO who is responsible for controlling drug trafficking at the New Star nightclub in Bali," explained Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Drug Crimes at INP Criminal Investigation Agency, on Friday (March 27, 2026).
He explained that the suspect in this case violated Article 132 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 114 paragraph (2) and/or Article 131 of Law Number 35 of 2009 in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments and/or Article 610 paragraph (2) letter a and/or Article 609 paragraph (2) letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments.
"Currently, the Joint Team from Sub-Directorate IV and the Narcotics Investigation Center Task Force are searching for the fugitive suspect," he said.
