inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Tangerang City Government continues to strengthen food security through cross-sector collaboration by working together with Batuceper Sector Police and farmer groups in planting corn seeds.
This activity demonstrates collaboration between the local government, the Indonesian National Police (INP), and local farmers to support regional food security while increasing the productivity of the community's agricultural sector.
The Head of the Tangerang City Food Security Agency (DKP), Muhdorun, stated that the joint activity was initiated by the Batuceper Sector Police as part of INP's food security program, specifically for corn.
"The Tangerang City DKP also provided support to farmers through inputs and providing six kilograms of BISI 18 variety corn kernels and one quintal of NPK fertilizer. This assistance is expected to support agricultural productivity and increase farmer yields in the Batuceper area," said Muhdorun.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Tangerang City Sub-regional Metro Police Community Development Unit, Superintendent Rachmat Haryanto, stated that this collaboration not only focuses on planting activities but also serves as the initial step in sustainable development for local farmers.
"This collaboration with the Tangerang City Government is expected to strengthen the development of local farmers while supporting the food security program in Tangerang City," he explained.
Through the spirit of mutual cooperation and togetherness, this activity is expected to increase farmers' enthusiasm for developing the agricultural sector, while also maintaining food availability amidst current challenges.
