inp.polri.go.id - East Java. The Ngawi Sub-regional Police Food Task Force inspected and checked on rice and corn stocks in two Bulog warehouses on Tuesday (5/19/2026). This activity was carried out to ensure the public's food supply remains secure and under control.

The inspection was led by the Head of the Ngawi Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Senior Inspector Aris Gunadi.

 "This inspection is to ensure the public's food supply, especially in Ngawi, remains secure and under control," said Aris.

During the inspection, at the Geneng Bulog warehouse, the rice stocks reached approximately 35,000 tons, estimated to be sufficient to meet demand for the next two to three years.

Meanwhile, the Bulog warehouse in Keniten is recorded as having approximately 12,000 tons of rice and approximately 12,000 tons of shelled corn. 

All stocks are deemed safe and sufficient, with the majority earmarked for the Government Food Assistance program and distribution to markets and other Bulog warehouses.

Ngawi Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Prayoga Angga Widyatama, emphasized that this monitoring demonstrates the police's commitment to supporting national food security. 

"Based on our monitoring, rice and corn stocks are secure and sufficient to meet people’s needs," he said. 

He also ensured that regular monitoring and supervision of food supplies would continue to be carried out to maintain stable distribution and food availability in Ngawi Regency.
