inp.polri.go.id - Central Sulawesi. The Tojo Sector Police continued to demonstrate their support for the national food security program by conducting direct monitoring of corn fields in Uekuli Village, Tojo District, on Thursday (5/7/2026). 

The activity was led by Tojo Sector Police Chief, First Police Inspector I Gusti Lanang Mardika.

During the inspection, police personnel visited two corn fields to ensure optimal corn growth without any problems. The first, belonging to Sahil, measuring 2 hectares, had just entered the planting season on April 20, 2026, and the shoots were considered in good condition.

Next, the group inspected Ramang Lahap's four hectares of corn field, which had been planted since the end of March 2026. At this location, the plants appeared to be growing well and showing significant improvement compared to the fields that had just entered the early planting season.

In addition to inspecting the crops, Mardika also engaged with the farmers regarding land management and the importance of maintaining agricultural productivity. 

"We hope that farmers will remain consistent in managing their land so that their harvests can support the government's food security program," he said on Thursday (5/7/2026).

Tojo Sub-regional Una-Una Police Chief, Superintendent Yanna Djayawidya, through the Head of Public Relations, Police Senior Inspector Muh. Natsir emphasized that the police's presence in the agricultural sector is a tangible form of support for community welfare. 

He also urged farmers to continue coordinating with the police if they encounter any obstacles in the field. The activity proceeded safely and smoothly, and received a positive response from residents of Uekuli Village.
