inp.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. The Bengkulu Regional Police's Medical and Health Unit held a coordination meeting to prepare for the establishment of a Fostered Fishermen's Village in Sumber Jaya Village, Kampung Melayu District, Bengkulu City. 

This activity is the first step in realizing a healthy coastal community environment through comprehensive development across various health sectors.

Other than the Bengkulu Regional Police key officials, the activity was also attended by all community unit (RW) and neighborhood unit (RT) heads from Sumber Jaya Village, Kampung Melayu District.

The Head of the Health and Medical Division of the Bengkulu Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Effri Susanto, explained that the establishment of the Fostered Fishermen's Village aims to improve the quality of life of coastal communities through ongoing health development.

"Going forward, all aspects related to public health will be the focus of development, from environmental health, housing conditions, individual health, to stunting prevention efforts," he said.

He added that the program will also target health development for elementary school-aged children as part of efforts to create a healthy and quality generation.

Through strong collaboration between the Bengkulu Regional Police, local government, health workers, and the local community, it is hoped that the Fostered Fishermen's Village can become a model for creating a clean, healthy, and productive environment.

The coordination meeting was conducted with great enthusiasm and yielded various inputs to inform the development of a health development program that will be implemented in stages in the coastal areas of Sumber Jaya Village.
