inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit will question former Mobile Brigade  member Dedy Wiratama, who backed a drug syndicate in Samarinda.

The Director of Drug Criminal Investigation of INP, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that the questioning is to follow up on findings of Dedy's involvement in drug trafficking.

He explained that the questioning is scheduled to take place on Friday (6/5/2026), after the suspect arrives from the East Kalimantan Regional Police.

"Dedy, who backed the Gang Langgar drug syndicate, will arrive at our lobby to undergo questioning in our drug criminal investigation," he said on Friday (6/5/2026).

Eko stated that the investigation of Dedy was only conducted as his team was waiting for the ethics process to complete. He stated that the ethics hearing found Dedy guilty of serious violations, namely backing a drug syndicate in Samarinda.

"The person concerned has been sentenced to dishonorable discharge (PTDH) by the East Kalimantan Regional Police for committing serious violations," he explained.
