inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police revealed the confessions of two suspects in the murder of a fried chicken employee in Bekasi. The two suspects, who have been detained, are identified by their initials DS and S.

The Director of Criminal Investigation at the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Iman Imanuddin, stated that the incident occurred when the kiosk was left by its owner on March 18, 2026 for homecoming. Three employees remained on site, but the two perpetrators allegedly took advantage of the situation.

He said that the victim, AH, was invited by the two suspects to join in the crime. However, the victim refused.

"They were both employees there. Then, the victim was invited to commit the crime, but he refused. So the two killed the victim," he said.

He explained that the perpetrators initially wanted to seize the employer's car. However, the plan changed due to tight security.

"(The motive) was to seize the employer's belongings. Initially, they wanted to take the car. But because of the relatively tight security, the plan shifted from the car to a motorcycle. However, the victim still refused to comply with the suspects' wishes. Ultimately, the suspects killed the victim," he said.
