inp.polri.go.id - Maluku. Police have revealed the confessions of the suspects in the stabbing of the Chairman of the Golkar Party Regional Representative Council (DPD) in Southeast Maluku, Agrapinus Rumatora, also known as Nus Kei.
Both suspects admitted to harboring a grudge against Nus Kei because they believed the victim was the mastermind behind the murder of their brother, Fenansius Wadanubun, also known as Dani Holat.
"The perpetrators' motive was revenge. The two perpetrators harbored a grudge because they thought Nus Kei was the mastermind behind the murder of their brother," said the Head of Public Relations for the Maluku Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Rositah Umasugi, on Monday (4/20/2026).
According to the suspects, the murder of their brother occurred in 2020 in Bekasi. The suspects revealed that the incident occurred next to the Metro Galaxy Apartments in Kalimalang, Bekasi.
The perpetrators' confessions, according to Rositah, also stated that revenge was the motive behind the stabbing because the perpetrators and the victim knew each other.
