inp.polri.go.id - Serang. Banten Regional Police uncovered two cases of aggravated motorcycle theft and one case of unauthorized possession of a homemade firearm, linked to a motorcycle theft network.
The disclosures were the result of several police reports received by the Banten Regional Police's General Criminal Investigation Directorate and the Mauk Sector Police. From the investigation and development, officers successfully apprehended six suspects: WR (29), SU (60), AT (33), MN (40), MS (40), and AA (23).
On the other hand, police also listed RO, UD, and EF on the wanted list as they are still on the run.
“The successful case uncovering is part of our commitment in providing a safe public safe to the people. We are not only arresting the main perp, but also continue to search their network to its roots. We will give no space for criminals to run the streets here in Banten,”
General Criminal Investigation Director, Senior Superintendent Dian Setyawan says.
He emphasized that police investigators are still continuing the hunt for the fugitives and their network while also looking at other completed cases in search for clues.
“We will immediately identify the stolen vehicles before returning it to their rightful owners. We also urged the people to always double lock their vehicle and not to park their vehicle recklessly. The public is also urged to report to the police if they find or know any individuals who own illegal firearms. Our collaboration is the key to provide a safe public space for all,” conclude Dian.
