inp.polri.go.id - Central Sulawesi. The Central Sulawesi Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate has uncovered alleged misuse of subsidized biodiesel fuel transportation and/or trade in North Morowali Regency.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Senior Superintendent Djoko Wienartono explained that the discovery was the result of an investigation in Ganda-Ganda Village, Petasia District. As reported by Antara Sulteng, Saturday (4/11/2026).

"During this disclosure, investigators discovered a large storage facility for biodiesel fuel. Officers confiscated seven plastic tanks with a capacity of 1,000 liters each," Djoko said.

He stated that, based on initial investigations, the storage facility was identified as belonging to a resident with the initials HT (55), a self-employed person residing in Ganda-Ganda Village.

HT explained to investigators that the fuel was obtained from PT Mega Trans Investama Sukses using the transport services of PT Harmony Solusi Energi, for a total purchase of 5,000 liters.

Djoko emphasized that his team will take firm action against any misuse of subsidized fuel that harms the state and the public.

"This law enforcement action demonstrates the police's commitment to ensuring the distribution of subsidized fuel is on target," he concluded.
