inp.polri.go.id - West Papua. The 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force once again demonstrated its commitment to maintaining security stability while building stronger bonds with the community through a humanistic approach in its assigned area.
The activity took place on Sunday (4/12/2026) in Ngingga Baru Village, specifically at the Tabernacle Church, Sinak District, Puncak Regency. During this activity, personnel conducted foot patrols, provided health services to the community, and engaged in casual conversations with local residents.
The personnel's presence was warmly welcomed by the community, who utilized the health services provided. Furthermore, direct interaction between officers and residents served as a means to strengthen relationships and build trust within the community.
The entire series of activities ran safely. The approach taken by the personnel is considered to have had a positive impact, both in maintaining security stability and increasing public trust in the Indonesian National Police (INP) presence in the area.
The Head of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation, Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized that patrols combined with social services are a key strategy in creating a conducive situation in Papua.
"We are not only here to maintain security, but also to provide tangible benefits to the community. This humanistic approach is key to building trust and maintaining regional stability," emphasized Faizal.
