inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesia is currently entering a phase of major transformation across various sectors, from the economy and regulations to food and energy, as it seeks to become a modern, prosperous, and just nation.

He stated that Indonesia is now at a crucial point in its national history, despite a global situation still marked by uncertainty, tension, and conflict.

"Our nation is at a historical crossroads. We are undergoing a major transformation amidst a world full of uncertainty, a world full of tension and conflict," said President Prabowo on Wednesday (7/1/2026).

He explained that the government's transformation encompasses various strategic areas, from the economy and bureaucracy to education and food and energy. 

These steps are being taken to strengthen national competitiveness while improving public welfare.

The main goal of this transformation is to build Indonesia as a modern country based on justice and popular sovereignty.

"Our transformation is for Indonesia to become a modern country, a prosperous country based on justice. A nation founded on popular sovereignty," said President Prabowo.

Furthermore, President Prabowo emphasized the important role of INP in maintaining national stability. He stated that successful national development and transformation require an orderly and conducive environment.

He conveyed that history shows that civilizations that survive and thrive are those with strong and professional police institutions. President Prabowo stated that no strong country exists without state officials trusted by the people, loyal to them, and who protect them.

"The history of human civilization shows that a successful civilization has a superior police force. That is a lasting civilization that endures and succeeds," he said.
