Inp.polri.go.id - Batujajar.  President Prabowo Subianto on Sunday (10/8/2025) appointed General Tandyo Budi Revita as Deputy Commander of the Indonesian Military (TNI), a position vacant for nearly 25 years.

“This morning, I officially inaugurated the Deputy TNI Commander,” he declared during the military parade at the TNI Special Forces Kopassus Training Center. Tandyo, previously the Army Deputy Chief of Staff, was promoted from lieutenant general to full general before taking the post.

A 1991 Military Academy graduate from the Infantry (Kostrad) branch, Commander Tandyo has held various strategic positions in the Army and Defense Ministry.

The reinstated role is part of structural changes under Presidential Regulation No. 84/2025, which reorganizes TNI units across all service branches. The event also saw President Prabowo inaugurate new elite force commanders and launch dozens of new territorial, marine, and air units.
