Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto met with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin on Monday (13/4/2026) to consult on rapidly shifting global geopolitical dynamics and strengthen bilateral strategic ties.
"We view Russia’s role as highly positive in navigating this era of global uncertainty, and we seek to deepen our cooperation in energy and economic sectors," President Prabowo Subianto said during the meeting in Moscow, as reported by antaranews.com.
Accompanied by key cabinet members, he highlighted the need for closer monetary relations and accelerated implementation of previous trade agreements. The President specifically emphasized Russia’s support for Indonesia’s swift admission into the BRICS alliance as a milestone in their diplomatic partnership.
President Prabowo affirmed he would personally oversee strategic collaborations to ensure national interests in energy security and economic stability are met.
