inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conveyed President Prabowo Subianto's order to thoroughly investigate the acid attack on the Deputy Coordinator of an activist group, KontraS, Andrie Yunus.

"Yesterday, the President clearly ordered us to thoroughly investigate this case. As of now, we are working on it," explained General Sigit, Wednesday (3/18/2026).

According to General Sigit, his team, specifically the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, is still investigating this case. They are reviewing 86 CCTV footage, conducting in-depth investigations while also examining other evidence.

"We are looking at all evidence to truly solve this case, or at least bring it to light. I believe all our members are working hard, and we ask for the public's support in uncovering this case," said the INP Chief.

The case is currently being investigated by investigators from the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police's Criminal Investigation Directorate and the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metropolitan Police. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM).
