Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening judicial institutions and enforcing strict legal measures to protect national assets.
Speaking at the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday (13/5/2026), the President highlighted that controlling the nation's wealth is the key to improving the lives of 287 million Indonesians.
"This is a matter of survival. It is impossible for our people to live prosperously if their wealth is taken away every day, every week, and every month," he asserted, as cited by antaranews.com.
The President praised the recent recovery of Rp 10.27 trillion by the Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH) but noted that hundreds, even thousands, of trillions more still need to be secured.
To achieve this, President Prabowo emphasized the importance of judicial integrity, noting that the government has increased judges' welfare to ensure they remain independent and "cannot be bribed." He urged all members of the judiciary to remember that the public closely monitors their decisions and expects real justice.
