Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto will depart for Australia this week for a bilateral visit with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed Monday (10/11/2025).
Australian Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia Gita Kamath said the two leaders are expected to discuss cooperation on agriculture and food security during their meeting in Sydney on 12 November 2025.
“I think they will continue discussions on strengthening the bilateral partnership, particularly in agriculture and food,” she said on the sidelines of the Australia–Southeast Asia Business Exchange (A-SEABX) in Jakarta, as reported by antaranews.com.
Australian Business Champion Jennifer Westacott added that the ongoing review of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) seeks to remove trade barriers and expand collaboration in biosecurity, technology, waste, and water management.
The visit follows Prabowo’s recent trips to the APEC Summit in South Korea and ASEAN Summit in Malaysia.
