BNN Head, Suyudi Ario Seto, stated that the BNN is moving towards a new paradigm of community empowerment. 

"The main objective of the community empowerment strategy is to create a social ecosystem capable of early detection and independent deterrence against the entry of drugs," he said on Thursday (2/19/2026).

Therefore, Suyudi stated that this concept is the essence of anti-drug community resilience, which BNN continues to strengthen.

In response to the increasingly complex dynamics of the drug threat, Suyudi believes that various strategic programs, such as the Shining Village, must continue to be promoted with a more inclusive and measured approach.

Therefore, he emphasized the importance of every policy and recommendation resulting from the working meeting truly addressing the root of the problem at the most basic level, namely the family and the smallest social environment.

This way, drug prevention efforts can be more effective, sustainable, and have a direct impact on the community. "Our presence in this room and those participating online is a crystallization of our collective commitment to realizing strong social defense," said the Head of BNN.
