inp.polri.go.id - Padang. Sociologist from Padang State University (UNP), West Sumatra (Sumbar) Erianjoni suspects that the premeditated murder and mutilation case of three women in Padang Pariaman Regency is related to other factors.
"Learning from this case, there is something we need to remember that usually the perpetrators in cases like this do not happen alone," said Sociologist from UNP, Padang City Erianjoni in Padang, Monday.
This was conveyed by Erianjoni regarding the alleged premeditated murder and mutilation case of three women with the perpetrator being a man with the initials SJ alias Wanda.
Erianjoni said that there are several factors that can cause someone to become a psychopath.
"However, the most likely factor is the family factor. The perpetrator who has not had a father figure since childhood can be said to have been one of the causes," says Erianjoni.
In addition, according to him, to prove it, it is also necessary to explore whether SJ received religious education or general legal understanding from the family.
On the other hand, SJ's cruel actions can also be triggered by the failure of the function of affection and education in the family.
He further explained in the theory of differentiation association and social control theory there are several factors that trigger someone to become a cold-blooded killer, one of which is the impact of the absence of self-control or self-control.
"Self-control includes aspects of religion, education of moral values to understanding or literacy of the law," he said.
