Inp.polri.go.id - Lubuk Linggau. The South Sumatra Regional Police enhanced national food security efforts by reviewing the Sustainable Food Garden (P2L) program, distributing farming equipment, and releasing fish seedlings at the Lubuk Linggau Police complex on Thursday (18/6/2026).

"The Indonesian National Police are not only present to maintain security, but also actively play a role in supporting the government's strategic programs. Food security is an essential part of national resilience," said South Sumatra Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Rony Samtana.

The initiative supports the government's food self-sufficiency goals. The reviewed 11.5-hectare agricultural land produced 36.30 tons of corn in the first quarter of 2026, followed by 30 tons from 10.5 hectares in the second quarter. 

Accompanied by Lubuk Linggau Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Adithia Bagus Arjunadi, the delegation also released 3,000 tilapia fish fingerlings and distributed tractors, water pumps, and hand sprayers to local farmer groups.
