Inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho awarded Corruption-Free Area (WBK) certificates and 2025 Prime Public Service honors to 11 working units and local police offices in Palembang on Wednesday (5/8/2026).
The ceremony, held alongside a Public Service Innovation Technical Guidance workshop, aimed to improve organizational governance and public service delivery across South Sumatra.
The WBK status was awarded to the Mobile Brigade Unit, Health Unit, Musi Rawas Police, and South Ogan Komering Ulu Police. Meanwhile, Palembang Police, Ogan Komering Ilir Police, Ogan Ilir Police, Prabumulih Police, Muara Enim Police, Lahat Police, and East Ogan Komering Ulu Police received Prime Public Service awards.
"These titles and awards are not the finish line, but a responsibility that must be maintained and upheld," Chief Sandi Nugroho said during his address.
He emphasized that public complaints must be handled swiftly and professionally without waiting for issues to go viral.
The event also featured specialized technical guidance by Sriwijaya University lecturer Dr. Sena Putra Prabujaya to ensure public service innovations remain accessible, effective, and sustainable.
