inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief of the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, received the Precision Award from the Indonesian Police Strategic Studies Institute (Lemkapi) on Monday (4/6/2026).
The award was given to the Chief of the Traffic Corps for his loyalty and performance in improving service, protection, and public assistance during the 2026 Eid homecoming and return travel.
Lemkapi Executive Director, Edi Saputra Hasibuan, stated that the Chief of the Traffic Corps is crucial as the spearhead of security for Operation Ketupat 2026.
"I, Saputra Hasibuan, Executive Director of Lemkapi, express my appreciation to the Chief of the Traffic Corps for his role as the spearhead of security for Operation Ketupat 2026," said Edi Saputra Hasibuan.
Edi stated that the police's success in securing the homecoming and return traffic received a positive response from the public, reaching 94.3%. This, he said, was based on research conducted by Lemkapi.
"We, on behalf of the public, acknowledge the success of INP in securing the homecoming and return traffic yesterday. Our research results show that 94.3% of the responses reflect the policies implemented by INP Traffic Corps in managing and controlling the homecoming traffic," explained Edi.
According to him, the various innovations and traffic engineering implemented by the INP Traffic Corps, including the national one-way system on Java, were crucial factors in the smooth flow of the homecoming traffic this year.
Nevertheless, Edi hopes that these achievements will not make them complacent, but rather that they will continue to improve the quality of their services to the public.
"We hope that with what has been done and what has been achieved, we hope that the Traffic Corps will not become complacent, but will continue to provide the best service to the public, in order to boost public trust towards INP," said Edi Saputra Hasibuan.
