inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Bali Regional Police revealed that the murder of Ukrainian citizen Ihor Komarav (28) was planned by seven foreign nationals from various countries.

Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya stated that the seven foreign nationals had been named as suspects.

This determination was the result of a series of intensive investigations involving crime scene investigations at six different locations.

"After a lengthy series of activities and hard work by investigators, we have named seven suspects, all of whom are foreign nationals," said Daniel at a press conference in Denpasar on Monday (3/30/2026).

Meanwhile, the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Bali Regional Police, Senior Superintendent I Gede Adhi Mulyawarwan, explained that the case was divided into six crime scene clusters spread across four regions: Tabanan, Badung, Denpasar, and the dumping point for the body parts in Gianyar.

The murder was meticulously planned, as evidenced by the perpetrators' survey activities conducted one month prior to the incident.

"The climax was at the sixth crime scene, where the victim's body parts were found on the beach in the Sukawati area of Gianyar. We suspect the execution took place at the fifth crime scene near Gianyar, given the numerous bloodstains found and the matching GPS data from the vehicle at that location," he said.

Although the identities have been secured, six of the seven suspects have fled abroad.

The six fugitives on the wanted list are FN (Ukraine), RM (Ukraine), DH (Ukraine), SM (Russia), FA (Kazakhstan), and NP (Kazakhstan).

Meanwhile, the perpetrator, a Nigerian citizen, has been apprehended by Immigration.

"Based on coordination with the National Police's International Relations Division and Interpol, we have identified the temporary locations suspected to be the final hiding places of the six fugitives," said Gede Adhi.
