inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming emphasized the downstreaming of the livestock industry to boost economic value during his visit to the Ampaslovers' Sayekti Farm cattle farm in Pagerjurang, Musuk District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java.

"We have to bring in investors to build a livestock factory immediately. This is crucial. There must be downstreaming here. From start to finish, investors must be brought in immediately," emphasized Vice President Gibran while giving instructions to livestock farmers, Friday (3/27/2026).

Gibran ensured that strengthening the livestock sector is carried out properly, from livestock health aspects to the development of downstream-based industries. This step is part of the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto's directive to strengthen national food security and improve the welfare of livestock farmers.

In addition to focusing on the industry, the Vice President emphasized the importance of vigilance against the spread of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), which frequently infects livestock. He instructed the acceleration of vaccinations and urged the public to actively report cases early to prevent the spread of the outbreak.

The Vice President Gibran advised the Regent of Boyolali to ensure all cattle are vaccinated. He also urged the public to promptly report any cases of disease to prevent an outbreak and spread.

Gibran encouraged the local government to immediately explore investment opportunities to build a comprehensive livestock ecosystem from upstream to downstream. He stated that the development of integrated livestock processing facilities is key to increasing the added value of local products.

He emphasized that the entire process from upstream to downstream must be completed to eliminate further complaints from residents. The presence of the processing plant is expected to maintain stable feed prices, create new jobs, and improve the welfare of the wider community in the region.
