Lampung Regional Police and its Departmental Police have exceeded the target set for the National Mass Simultanoues Covid-19 Vaccination, a social service event commemorating the 75th Bhayangkara anniversary. Lampung Regional Police initially targeted 33,198 people, but 42,252 people had vaccinated that day.

Chief of Lampung Regional Police, Police Inspector General Hendro Sugianto, appreciated public enthusiasm in going to several sites prepared for the mass vaccination event in Lampung province on Saturday (26/06/21).

“Public enthusiasm was extraordinary. We have exceeded the target”, Chief of Lampung Regional Police said.

Chief of PR and Press Division of Lampung Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, said that based on data compiled from hundreds of mass vaccination sites in Lampung province, the vaccination target had been surpassed.

“Our target for the national mass simultaneous vaccination in Lampung was 33,198 people, but we had vaccinated 42,252 people”, Police Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said on Sunday (27/06/2021).

Chief of PR and Press Division of Lampung Regional Police said that the enthusiasm of Lampung people was extraordinary. It was proven by many people who came to the site at 08.00 until its closure. As a result, until the end of the event, 42,252 people have been vaccinated, exceeding the initial target.

To serve the public, the Police has deployed 3,500 vaccinators from three pillars (Armed Forces, Police, and Regional Government), which spread across hundreds of mass vaccination sites in Lampung province. The event was run safely, orderly, and adhered to tightened Health Protocols.

Police Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad hopes this mass vaccination event can form herd immunity to fight the Coronavirus. However, Pandra also still appeals to the vaccinated people to adhere to Health Protocols in their daily activities.
