The Bali Water and Air Police Unit Received Brand New Operational Tactical Vehicles for Securing the G20 Summit
inp.polri.go.id – The G20 Summit that will be held at ITDC, Nusa Dua, Bali is upon us. Regarding this, the Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) of the Bali Police received additional operational tactical vehicles, which is two units of “Rigid Inflatable Boat” (RIB) which will be used in water areas when the summit begins.
On that occasion, the Bali Police Chief, Inspector General Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, accompanied by most of the Bali Police main officials trying out the new RIB in Pasiran Pier, Benoa Harbor, Bali, Friday (8/12).
On that trial, the Boat roams Benoa water route to the Nusa Dua waters, the Bali Strait. After that, the boat returned and docked in Serangan.
On that occasion, the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Commissioner Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, said that the trial was to ensure all security systems of the G-20 Summit, as well as to test the new tactical vehicle.
“This Sea Trial is to review the waters along the Bali Strait which will later become a marine patrol area for marine police in the G-20 Summit. At the same time, this trial is also to test two new RIB tactical vehicles owned by the Bali Police Ditpolairud,” he said.
