Denpasar. The joint forces of the South Denpasar Police, the Denpasar Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Bali General Criminal Investigation Directorate led by Denpasar Police Chief Superintendent Bambang Yugo Pamungkas arrested the murder suspect of a woman on on Monday (2/1/23).

The suspect, identified as a 25 year-old man under the initial name of RABP, was arrested in his rented room on Serma Gede Street, Dauh Puri Kelod Village, West Denpasar District, near Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar. His victim was identified as Aluna Sagita, 26 year old, a woman from Batam, Riau Islands,

Head of the Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate III of the Bali Police Superintendent Endang Tri Purwanto said that the arrest of the perpetrator began with an in-depth investigation conducted by Denpasar Police together with South Denpasar Sectoral Police.

“He is suspected of committing robbery and premeditated murder. Based on the CCTV footage around the crime scene, he walked to the murder scene. He most likely walked on foot from Serma Made Pil Street to Tukad Batanghari Street. He has now been detained by the South Denpasar Police,” he said.
