Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has clarified that the suspects involved in the Coldplay concert ticket fraud are not part of an organized syndicate. This confirmation follows multiple reports filed with the police.

“It is important to note that each case is unrelated and not connected to any larger network,” explained Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the Head of Public Affairs of INP Public Relations Division, on Tuesday (30/5/23).

The one-star general added that the ticket fraud was carried out by independent individuals who took advantage of the situation of people eagerly seeking tickets that were already sold out.

“So, it was exploited by individuals within the community. There is no correlation between one suspect and another,” he added.

He also mentioned that the Crime Investigation Agency of the INP has received one report involving 65 victims with the total loss amounts to Rp227 million.
