Semeru Mountain Erupted with Eruption 700 Meters Above the Peak

Inp.polri.go.id – East Java. Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG) states that Semeru Mountain in East Java was erupted on Friday (9/22/2023).

PVBMG reports the height of the eruption was 700 meters above the peak.

“There was an eruption at Semeru Mountain on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at 09:23,” says Vulcanic Mountain Post official, Yadi Yuliandi, quoted from PMJNews, Friday (9/22/2023).

“The height of the eruption was seen 700 meters above the peak,” he adds.

It was previously reported that on Thursday (9/21/2023), Semeru Mountain was erupted three times in a day, from 06:03, 06:30, and 09:34.
