– Bandung. West Java Regional Police Inspector General Dr. Akhmad Wiyagus,  accompanied by the Acting Governor of West Java, led a Deployment Parade and integrated patrols to ensure security during the elections on Monday (12/02/2024).

The parade underscored the preparedness of the Indonesian Military, the Indonesian Natioal Police (INP), and other agencies for securing polling stations across West Java.

High-ranking officials including Siliwangi Military Commander, West Java Deputy Prosecutor’s Office, and heads of other governmental bodies were in attendance.

Acting Governor of West Java, Bey Triadi Machmudin expressed profound appreciation to all involved parties for their commitment to ensuring the smooth, honest, and peaceful conduct of the elections in West Java.

He emphasized the imperative for neutrality among government agencies and urged continuous efforts to guarantee a transparent electoral process free from intimidation or fraud. He called upon citizens to actively participate in safeguarding the elections and ensuring the accurate distribution and counting of ballots.
