This was conveyed by the Director of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police Drugs Investigation Unit, Senior Superintendent Ronald, during a press conference on the disclosure and destruction of evidence.
"From January 1 to April 8, 2026, we successfully uncovered 165 narcotics and dangerous drug cases, with 206 suspects. Of these 206 suspects, the perpetrators were predominantly male (186) and female (20)," he said on Tuesday (4/14/2026).
Ronald explained that during the raid, several pieces of evidence were seized, including 7,935.53 grams (7.9 kg) of methamphetamine and 5,963 grams (5.9 kg) of marijuana.
"This raid demonstrates our commitment to implementing the vision and mission of President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita program, one of which is eradicating narcotics," he said.
In addition, the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police will destroy the seized evidence from February 1 to April 8, 2026.
The narcotics seized include 4,674.9 grams of methamphetamine, 4,293 ecstasy pills, 5,038 marijuana pills, and 43,849.9 grams of ketamine.
"From this raid, we saved 927,996 lives from the abuse of narcotics and other dangerous drugs," he concluded.
