inp.polri.go.id - Tuban. The Indonesian National Police (INP) demonstrated their full preparation to welcome the visit of President Prabowo Subianto to the inauguration of 166 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG), centered in Tuban Regency, East Java, on Friday (5/16/2026).

The inauguration is part of the acceleration of the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) Program and the strengthening of national food security in support of the development of superior human resources towards a Golden Indonesia.

The Head of the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) Task Force of INP, Inspector General Nurworo Danang, stated that all ranks have made various preparations to ensure optimal SPPG operations and provide tangible benefits to the community.

"We are ready to fully support the President's agenda in the operational inauguration of 166 SPPGs. The MBG Program is a concrete implementation of the President's Asta Cita as nutritional fulfillment and food security are the main foundations for building a healthy, strong, and competitive Indonesian generation," said Nurworo Danang.

According to him, the MBG Program not only focuses on distributing nutritious food but also on building a sustainable food ecosystem by involving farmers, livestock breeders, MSMEs, and local cooperatives.

"This program not only provides nutritious food to the community but also stimulates the people's economy through an inclusive food supply chain. Therefore, the sustainability of the program is a top priority that we continue to strengthen," he explained.

As of May 13, 2026, the INP's MBG Task Force had developed 1,376 Food Service Posts (SPPG) across various regions in Indonesia. Of these, 736 were operational, serving approximately 1.84 million beneficiaries and employing nearly 36,800 workers. In addition, 172 SPPGs were in the operational preparation stage, and 468 SPPGs were still under construction, consisting of 435 SPPGs in agglomeration areas and 33 SPPGs in remote areas.

On this occasion, as many as 166 SPPGs in 24 regional police units were simultaneously inaugurated and connected online from their respective regions with the support of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum, Bhayangkari, volunteers, nutrition experts, and field operational teams.
