inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. After being on the wanted list (DPO) for approximately seven years, suspect Pulan Wonda, also known as Kamenak, is now undergoing further legal proceedings in Jayapura. The suspect was previously apprehended during a raid in Puncak Jaya Regency.

On Saturday (4/4/2026), the suspect was transferred to Jayapura and arrived at Sentani Airport at around 10:25 a.m. under escort from the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force.

The transfer process was carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures, with tight security and continued attention to the suspect's rights, including family support.

The Vice Head of Public Relations for the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, Superintendent Andria, explained to the media that all stages of the transfer were carried out measurably and in accordance with regulations.

"The suspect's transfer process proceeded safely and according to procedure. Security was tight, and all stages were carried out professionally and transparently, while still fulfilling the suspect's rights, including family support," he said.

Upon arrival in Jayapura, the suspect was immediately referred to the Jayapura Bhayangkara Hospital Level II for a medical examination as part of the handling procedure.

According to Andria, this step is part of law enforcement standards, which not only focus on legal proceedings but also consider humanitarian aspects.

"Upon arrival in Jayapura, the suspect immediately underwent a medical examination. This demonstrates that the handling was carried out comprehensively, while still paying attention to the patient's condition and safety," he explained.
