Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A total of 775 non-commissioned officer recruits specializing in Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) duties officially began their training at the State Police Academy (SPN) of the Metro Jaya Regional Police in Cigombong, Bogor Regency, on Monday.
Deputy Chief of the Metro Jaya Police Brigadier General Dekananto Eko Purwono led the opening ceremony, reading an official address from Head of the Police Education and Training Institute Commissioner General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak.
"These recruits hailing from 34 regional police headquarters across Indonesia will undergo five months of intensive education," he noted on Tuesday (21/7/2026). Nationally, the 2026 intake totals 4,799 recruits across 31 police academies and the Police Women's Academy (Sepolwan).
Chief Dekananto said that the training regime must remain strictly free from physical abuse or bullying.
"Rigorous education does not mean harsh treatment, and tough physical training must never diminish dignity," he read from the mandate. "Strictness should shape character, not foster resentment."
The five-month program aims to transform civilian recruits into professional, humane, and accountable police officers ready to deliver frontline public services.
