inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) supports strengthening the governance of the national airport ecosystem by synchronizing spatial plans with the national airport system, including accelerating the issuance of Spatial Utilization Activity Conformity Permits (KKPR).
Vice Minister of ATR/BPN Ossy Dermawan stated that the integration of spatial data, land data, spatial planning data, geospatial information, and regional permit data will accelerate and improve the accuracy of the decision-making process.
"The integration of spatial data, land data, spatial planning data, geospatial information, and regional permit data will make the decision-making process faster, more accurate, and more integrated," said Ossy on Friday (6/26/2026).
He explained that ATR/BPN's support is realized through synchronizing spatial plans with the national airport system, accelerating the issuance of KKPRs to support investment and development, land acquisition for public interest, and strengthening spatial planning control to ensure regional development remains in accordance with established plans.
According to him, airport governance also needs to be strengthened through cross-sectoral spatial data integration, conceptualized as a single spatial planning policy.
To discuss strengthening the airport sector, he attended a Ministerial-Level Coordination Meeting on Strengthening Airport Ecosystem Governance, chaired by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) on Thursday (6/25/2026).
In the meeting, he emphasized the importance of comprehensive spatial planning and control.
"Going forward, control needs to be implemented from the planning stage, through licensing, to ongoing supervision," said Ossy.
