Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The Bandung City Sub-regional Police are conducting an intensive investigation into the death of Muhammad Fahdly Arjasubrata, a student from SMAN 5 Bandung high school, who was allegedly killed during a group assault on Jalan Cihampelas on Friday.

"Please trust the Bandung Police to conduct a thorough and professional investigation into this incident," said Acting Chief of Bandung Police Senior Superintendent Adi Wijaya on Sunday (15/3/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.

The case is currently being handled by the Bandung Police Criminal Investigation Unit following the circulation of viral amateur footage showing a violent clash in the Cihampelas area. 

Preliminary reports from the Coblong Police Office suggested the incident may have involved students from SMAN 5 high school and SMAN 2  high school Bandung. In response to the tragedy, authorities have urged the public to remain calm and avoid any provocative actions that could lead to further conflict. The police remain committed to identifying all perpetrators involved and ensuring a transparent legal process to prevent any future escalation between student groups.
