inp.polri.go.id - East Java. In celebrating the 80th Bhayangkara Day, Bromo KOM XII 2026 has returned to enliven the upcoming day of the corps’ birthday. 

The East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Nanang Avianto says that the cycling event's magnitude is huge and positively welcomes the event.

Since it was first held in 2014, the East Java Regional Police have held the event 10 times for thousands of cyclists across Indonesia, even abroad.

Now, in 2026, Nanang has directly sent off the thousand cyclists practicing the Bromo KOM XII 2026.

“This morning, I would like to congratulate for the successful event of Bromo KOM XII and the 80th Bhayangkara Day,” greets Nanang on Saturday (6/6/2026).

Inspector General Nanang expressed his hope that all participants would participate well, departing in good health and reaching the finish line safely.

He emphasized that safety is the primary concern for all participants during the journey from Surabaya to the finish line in the Bromo mountain range, known for its challenging terrain.

He also expressed his gratitude to MainSepeda, the co-organizer, and all the committee members and parties who supported the event. The route not only offers challenges but also offers unique natural panoramas of East Java.

"We hope this event will continue to become an annual event eagerly awaited by cycling enthusiasts from across Indonesia and other countries. Hopefully, this event will continue year after year and become even more exciting," he said.
