inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate successfully uncovered a clandestine narcotics lab operating in the River Side Apartments area of ​​Tangerang Regency. 

In this operation, police arrested a suspect identified as C.K. (40), a Malaysian citizen, who is suspected of managing and operating the production of Etomidate liquid in the form of vape cartridges.

The Director of Narcotics Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police stated, "We have uncovered a clandestine home industry lab manufacturing vape cartridges containing Etomidate, a Class II narcotic, which has recently become popular among urban youth," he said on Tuesday (April 21, 2026).

During the search, police recovered various pieces of evidence, including 30 liters of propylene glycol liquid and 2,539.44 grams of Etomidate powder, estimated to be capable of producing up to 380,996 ready-to-distribute vape cartridges. 

Additionally, hundreds of cartridges containing Etomidate liquid were seized, along with production equipment such as presses, liquid syringes, mixers, and scales.

Converting the total evidence to the street value of the illicit narcotics, the police has seized IDR 762 billion and saved around 380,900 Jakartans from the dangers of drug abuse.

The police urge the public to stay away from drugs and report any drug dealers or abusers for the sake of the nation's bright future.
