inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifil Hasan (Zulhas), revealed President Prabowo Subianto's message regarding food price stability during the Indonesian National Military (TNI)-Indonesian National Police (INP) Leadership Meeting (Rapim) at the State Palace on Monday (2/9/2026).

He explained that food price stability must be maintained, especially ahead of major holidays such as Eid al-Fitr, Christmas, and New Year.

"The President's order is that prices do not rise. They must go down. However, we are aware that it's truly not easy," explained Minister Zulhas in his statement.

He also noted the INP role in maintaining food price stability to prevent middlemen from manipulating food prices. According to him, the role of police officers ensures there is no further manipulation, especially regarding food prices.

“Previously, we were struggling with the Minister of Agriculture to enable the farmer to sell the food price at IDR 6,500. However, in many places, they were still sold at IDR 6,000 and even IDR 5,500. Then, I contacted the INP Chief, and we were finally able to break the circle,” said Zulhas.

Meanwhile, Minister Zulhas also praised INP's role in supporting the President's priority program, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG). He stated that INP's Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) is the best in the MBG program.
