Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo stressed the urgent need for fundamental reforms within the IINP to meet public expectations and adapt to current challenges. 

He underlined that transformation must begin with improving the quality and integrity of human resources.

“An organization cannot change by itself. Change starts with its people. That’s why Polri’s transformation must begin with members who have competence, integrity, and conscience,” Chief Dedi said on Thursday (2/10/2025), antaranews.com reported..

He revealed that 74 percent of current personnel placements were found to be mismatched, promising corrective measures through digitalization and structured development. 

With lessons from recent demonstrations, the INP will conduct comprehensive mapping from local police stations to headquarters. Chief Dedi also introduced the “4K” reform DNA, namely orality-based curriculum, talent-based cadre development, emotional intelligence, and communication skills, as the foundation for a modern, trusted police force.
