inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) emphasized its commitment to implementing the zero-tolerance principle for Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) poisoning cases, which requires collaboration from all parties through strengthened services and strong oversight.

BGN Head Sudaryono stated that food safety is a non-negotiable principle in the implementation of the MBG program, as the program to fulfill the community's nutritional needs must go hand in hand with ensuring the safety of the food consumed by beneficiaries.

"BGN continues to improve services, supervision, monitoring, and collaboration with all parties to ensure the program runs smoothly, with zero tolerance for poisoning cases," said Daryono, familiarly known as Mas Dar, in an official statement confirmed in Jakarta on Tuesday (8/11/2026).

He emphasized that BGN continues to enhance oversight of the MBG implementation as part of efforts to prevent food safety risks, which requires the involvement of all elements, from program organizers to schools, teachers, students, and other relevant parties.

"We will continue to improve services, supervision, monitoring, and collaboration with all parties to ensure the program runs smoothly," he said.

According to Daryono, efforts to maintain food safety must be carried out collectively. Compliance with food consumption regulations, including ensuring food is consumed within the specified time limits, is a crucial step in preventing unwanted risks.

BGN also reminds students not to take MBG food home for consumption. This measure is taken because the condition and quality of the food outside the organizer's supervision cannot be guaranteed, potentially posing a food safety risk.

The zero-tolerance commitment to food poisoning is part of BGN's efforts to ensure that MBG not only meets nutritional needs but also provides a sense of security to all beneficiaries.
