inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Culture Fadli Zon assessed that Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah is an important moment to strengthen the values of sacrifice, sincerity, tolerance, and social solidarity that are deeply rooted in Indonesian culture.
"This Eid al-Adha commemoration is an important commemoration, especially for Muslims who celebrate it, because it embodies the meaning of sacrifice, sincerity, tolerance, and social solidarity," said Fadli Zon on Tuesday (5/26/2026).
He said these values have long been an important part of Indonesian social and cultural life, including the tradition of helping those in need.
The Minister added that Eid al-Adha also serves as a reminder for the community to maintain the spirit of mutual assistance and working together in the face of various situations and difficulties.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture collected approximately 23 sacrificial bulls to be distributed to eligible recipients.
Abi Kusno, Head of the Bureau of State Property, Procurement of Goods and Services, and General Affairs at the Ministry of Culture, stated that the sacrificial animals were obtained through the participation of all work units and employees within the ministry.
He explained that the slaughter of the sacrificial animals will take place on Thursday (5/28/2026) at the Budang Sapi Tangerang Farm slaughterhouse in Tigaraksa. The meat will be packaged into two-kilogram packages for distribution to those entitled to receive the qurbani (mustahik) and supporting staff within the Ministry of Culture.
