inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The North Lampung Sub-regional Police's Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Food Security Team conducted a food quality and safety inspection at their Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) Kitchen early Monday (5/11/2026).

The inspection, which began at 4:00 a.m., was carried out to ensure that the food being distributed to beneficiaries was safe and fit for consumption.

During the inspection, the team conducted organoleptic tests on the menu, which consisted of white rice, grilled chicken, dried tempeh, cucumber, lettuce, and oranges.

Furthermore, a rapid chemical food safety test was conducted, with all samples testing negative for hazardous substances such as nitrite, formaldehyde, and arsenic.

North Lampung Sub-regional Police Head of Public Relations, First Police Inspector Herawati, stated that the activity demonstrates police's commitment to supporting the MBG program, ensuring its hygiene and safety for public consumption.

"This inspection is being conducted to ensure that the distributed food is safe, healthy, and fit for consumption. We want the MBG program to run optimally and benefit the community," said Herawati.

She added that based on the inspection results, the food prepared by the North Lampung Sub-regional Police SPPG was declared fit and ready to be distributed to 2,202 beneficiaries.

"All inspection results indicate that the food is in good condition and contains no hazardous materials. The food is now ready to be distributed to the beneficiaries," he added.

The North Lampung Sub-regional Police also emphasized that they will continue to conduct regular monitoring and inspections to maintain the quality of the food distributed to the community.
